Bohol CoCo Farm Backpackers is a place specifically for Backpackers like me, who are looking for a budget accommodation in Bohol. The Resort offers cottages built in Nipa Hut style. The accommodation prices comes up with a free vegetarian breakfast which they said is organic as they are the one who are producing in their own farm. With in my stay i saw that they are building some other additional cottages  that's for sure block buster for the coming summer vacation or even probably in the coming Christmas holiday vacation.

Day 2 - Panglao Inland Tour

Panglao Island offers alot of things to see and to visit such as beaches , museums, cave, farm, and other interesting places.

Just right after my Island Tour Hopping i proceeded to the Panglao Inland tour arranged by the couple i met on the Countryside Tour. This time ill be exploring Panglao  not solo. Good as i can save some bucks for sharing trike rental with them. Alas! We split rent for the trike. I payed 200php for this afternoon tour.

About 12.00  me and the couple got some lunch in one of the resto around Panglao, while waiting for the trike we rented. We ate in Alona Hidden Dream Resto,I ordered a combo meal consisting
glass of lemonade juice, one rice, chicken and pork BBQ. Not bad for our hungry tummy. Price is reasonable too for 130  each set of meal.

12.30 we started the tour  we traveled like 5 mins going to the first destination.

Panglao Church - St. Agustine Church

This church is approximately 18km from Tagbilaran City. This church is well known for its ceiling murals which i find so amazing and artistic. The Altar is a hexagonal dome and the ceiling is filled with the mural of the holy trinity and and surrounded by angels. I grabbed the opportunity to at least give some time for giving thanks and praise for the safe trip in Bohol.

Nova Shell Museum

After the Church we went to the nearby museum called Nova Shell Museum which basically consist of shells and whats surprising is they have some antique collection too.At first it was quite boring for me as i usually see collections of shells but to my surprise while you are doing the tour i realized that the place offers some other collection. It was a wow for me seeing antiques somewhere at the back, i saw old plates, old statues, old mugs and cups , even old cabinets, lamps , mirrors etc. For me that's more interesting than the usual Shell collections. It was worth it. They have entrance fee of 50 pesos.

Hinagdanan Cave

Hinagdanan Cave is located at the municipality of Dauis in Panglao. Its is naturally lightened cavern with a deep lagoon and many stalactites and stalagmites. This cave is made of limestones and the underground lagoon is known for the swimming spot. The lagoon has greenish surface produced by the greenish limestones at the bottom of the pool. The water is cold and its really refreshing to swim. However its not advisable to go deep  because of the karts pollutants present on the lagoon.
Also it can be very crowded on weekends so u know what to expect. The Cave personnel's charge  50php for the entrance and 75 php for entrance and swimming. Unfortunately they charged us twice. We payed only 50 for entrance as we didn't planned to swim but we are inside we decided to swim. They charged us again for 75php. We just didn't complain. OK that's for environmental help anyway. But still that's not fair.
We stayed for about an hour or more as we enjoyed swimming in the cold deep water in that lagoon.

Bohol Bee Farm

Bohol Bee Farn is one of the best place to stay if you are going to stay in Panglao, its not a beach front Accommodation but they offer an awesome service and the view is amazing! I didn't checked in to this place but its one of the choices to book for.
They don't charge entrance fee is you wanted to roam around the area. But they do offer a guider tour for only 30php which you can have a encounter with the bees.
I got the chance to check the area and  it was impressive. The exteriors of the rooms are nice , they have pool , they have their in house cafe , they have restaurant, they have their own organic bakery too and they have also pasalubong store. Its like one stop place to go to. The most i love in this place is that they have an amazing restaurant view. The ocean and its breeze while you are eating is heaven. They also got my favorite Ice cream store I love what they served, they have different flavors such as peanut kisses, ginger, avocado, dragon fruit, pandan, mango, chocolate and my favorite durian for 60 per scoop .. the cone they used is sooo unique that is made up of cassava flour. Taste so good .Its a must to taste!

About 4pm the tour ended but its optional if you wanted to visit the Dimaluan Beach. In my case i opted not to do it as i will do that in the morning. So me and the couple separated and they go back to Tagbilaran where they were staying and the trike dropped me to  my resort . The Bohol Coco Farm.

I freshen up i took shower relax and enjoy the place, it was raining about 7 pm and i decided to eat little bit later. 8 pm the rain stopped and i went out to find something to eat. I walked from the resort to the highway like 5 mins and i dined at the Ati Atihan Chiken. It was a famous Restaurant not only in Bohol but in other provinces too. I ordered a meal composed of  Petso (chicken breast and wing part) and unlimited rice, yes unli rice for my hungry tummy for only 120php. and i got halo halo for my dessert for 99php. Busog kaayo!

9pm i went back to my  resort and got bottle of San Miguel Lights. for 50php just to relax and make me more sleepy. 10pm lights off. Goodnight.

Day 3.

I woked up at 8 am and i prepared my self for the free breakfast included in my accommodation.
i went around the resort as i never seen my resort in the morning as I'm always not around
I ate and moved  to check out the Libaong Public beach and the Dimaluan Public Beach.
they said it was just like 15 mins of walk. So i didn't bother to get a trike or habal habal and walked to the direction given to me by Google map. I thought it was a very refreshing walk with lots of trees around. I should have had rented a trike instead of walking that far. Ok maybe if its not that sunny 9.30 is very hot in that place no trees around but a concrete road heading to the beach. Good thing is that i brought with me some water and crackers. After more than 20 minutes of walking i arrived the beach of Libaong.

Libaong Beach

Libaong Beach is a public beach and its connected with the Dimaluan Beach . It was 3km long stretch of white beach and also called as White Beach Panglao.
Few Tourist in this place and lots of locals.
In all fairness this public beach has a lot of opportunity to be touristic place if they will just take care of the surroundings like cleaning the beachfront because the beach it self offers an amazing sight and view. Unfortunately i saw lots of plastic bottles, Alcoholic Bottles, some plastics. They should act to save this place.Just look into the beach and u will saw wow amazing .. don't look around you will be disappointed.

Dimaluan Beach

The south part of Libaong Beach is the Dimaluan Beach . The beach here is far more better than Libaong Beach . It was way cleaner  and its well taken care of. One of the famous resort here is the Dimaluan Beach Resort . If you only want to do day tour entrance fee is just 20php. but if you wanted to stay overnight i have the link for you guys. I spent long time in this Beach Resort .. Ohh by the way i didn't pay any entrance fee coz i came from the beach already, i didn't passed by the entrance and guard located at the front gate ;-) So its a free tour in Dimaluan Beach Resort.
I got a good spot to seat and relax and unwind and enjoy the scenic view and fresh air. I would love to go swimming but that time its low tide so sad.I stayed in the  beach till 11.30am. Going Back to the resort i decided to take trike for 60php  found in the main entrance of the Beach Resort . I need to get ready for my check out and my flight at 3pm.
